Installation Instructions for Ellis ER44-50 Emperor Trefoil Cable Cleats

  1. Securing the Cleat: Bolt the cleat to the support structure using the two outer M10 or the central M12 fixing positions provided.
  2. Cable Installation: Position the cables within the cleat. For larger cables in the cleat's range, adjust the spacing as necessary to accommodate the cable diameter.
  3. Closing the Cleat: Remove the flange nut and carefully bend the two edges of the cleat around the cables until they are parallel. Ensure the screw aligns with the adjacent hole and then replace the flange nut.
  4. Final Tightening: Tighten the flange nut to secure the cleat. Warning: Avoid over-tightening the cable cleat. The liner should make firm contact with the cable, but should not compress or deform the cable.
